Looking at layoffs and a horse’s form cycle on The Action in recent weeks, the moral was this: Don’t shy away from betting a horse just because they didn’t run well, first or even second off a layoff.
That’s especially true if the horse has back-class… meaning they’ve won or performed well in bigger races in the past.
