Norman “Lynn” Cash came to love horse racing in middle age, well after he established a successful business in roofing. He and wife Lola decided to buy a Thoroughbred after seeing I’ll Have Another win the Kentucky Derby in 2012, and they gradually built up a stable of hard-knocking horses primarily racing in the Midwest and Midlantic circuits.
Norman “Lynn” Cash came to love horse racing in middle age, well after he established a successful business in roofing. He and wife Lola decided to buy a Thoroughbred after seeing I’ll Have Another win the Kentucky Derby in 2012, and they gradually built up a stable of hard-knocking horses primarily racing in the Midwest and Midlantic circuits.
Cash began training in 2021 and earned his first graded stakes win when longshot Double Crown scored an upset win in the Grade 2 Kelso Handicap in October 2022. He also gained notice as the trainer of iron horse Beverly Park, who led all North American racehorses in wins during 2022 with 15.
