The 2021 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve is now in the rearview mirror, and the eyes of the horse racing world turn to the Preakness Stakes on May 15 at Pimlico to see if Derby winner Medina Spirit can capture the second leg of the Triple Crown against what could be a formidable field. America’s Best Racing has put together a slideshow of the 3-year-olds expected to compete in the middle jewel of the Triple Crown. For most of the contenders targeting the Preakness, we were able to find a nice mix of photos to show fans their competitive side as well as a little bit about their personality. The runners coming from the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve appear first followed by the "new shooters" for the 1 3/16-mile classic.
