Philip Bauer began his career in the horse industry as an assistant trainer to Ken McPeek and Steve Margolis and obtained his trainer’s license in 2013. The Louisville, Ky., native has built a successful career as a private trainer for Richard and Tammy Rigney’s Rigney Racing. His first graded stakes win came in 2015 with Channel Marker.
