One of the perennial highlights of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships is the Longines Distaff, which brings together many of the best fillies and mares in training to compete for a $2 million purse and boost their chances at being honored as champion older female at the Eclipse Awards.

This year’s renewal Oct. 31 at Keeneland Race Course is headlined by Nitrogen, the reigning champion 3-year-old filly who will attempt at age 4 to improve on her second-place finish in the 2025 Distaff. The prospective field also includes Fully Subscribed, who comes in on a three-race win streak, and Super Corredora, who was voted champion 2-year-old filly of 2025 after winning the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies and who returned after a break to win the Zenyatta Stakes last month.
