Eclipse Award-winning jockey Flavien Prat grew up in his native France among a family that was immersed in horse racing. Now, with wife Manon and children Elena and Lenny, Prat is extending that generational bond. From Elena’s pony riding lessons to Lenny’s love of jockey helmets and crops, the Prats enjoy family time learning about, and caring for, horses.
“It’s fun having their parent being a jockey,” Manon says. “The kids get to the races and see their father win. I think it’s very out of the ordinary, but in a very good way.”
