Reagan Ingordo, namesake of Blue Grass Stakes runner Reagan’s Honor, has been involved with the Honor A. P. colt since the start of his career and brought a close friend to Keeneland to cheer him on in the $1.25 million Kentucky Derby prep race.
Reagan is the daughter of bloodstock agent David Ingordo, who co-owns Reagan’s Honor in partnership with West Point Thoroughbreds and Gabriel Duignan. The talented colt was a dominant winner of back-to-back races at Fair Grounds before his first start on the Kentucky Derby trail in the Blue Grass. Reagan’s Honor finished sixth in the 1 1/8-mile Blue Grass but remains a promising prospect despite a defeat in his stakes debut.
