Right to Party won his maiden race in his second lifetime start in a one-mile race at Aqueduct in his first start of his 3-year-old season on Jan. 10, 2026. He then was the third-place finisher in his next out in an eight-horse field in the Grade 3 $300,000 Gotham Stakes going one mile at Aqueduct on Feb. 28, 2026. The Gotham was a points race on the Road to the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve. With his third-place finish, Right to Party earned 15 qualifying points.

Right to Party took another shot on the Road to the Kentucky Derby presented Woodford Reserve in his next outing in the Grade 2 $750,000 Wood Memorial Stakes presented by Resorts World Casino going 1 1/8 miles at Aqueduct on April 4, 2026. Sent off as a 38.72-1 longshot in a field of 12 in the Wood Memorial, Right to Party rallied from near the rear of the field to get up and win a battle for second at the finish. The Wood Memorial was a qualifying points race for the Kentucky Derby, and with his second-place finish Right to Party earned 50 points which is enough to get into the field for the run for the roses.
