Talk to Me Jimmy returned from a three-month layoff Feb. 6 at Aqueduct in the $200,000 Withers Stakes, a Kentucky Derby qualifying race that was a difficult assignment as both his first try against open company and his stakes debut. He dueled with favorite Schoolyardsuperman for the early lead, seized command, and spurted away to a huge lead entering the stretch. Talk to Me Jimmy coasted to a 11-length runaway in 1:51.68 for 1 1/8 miles and earned 20 points toward qualifying for the 2026 Kentucky Derby.
