Bio
Talk to Me Jimmy made his career debut Sept. 26, 2025, at Aqueduct in a one-mile race that was moved off the turf to the main track. The bay Modernist colt battled late to finish third in the eight-horse field.
Trainer Rudy Rodriguez kept him on the main track for his second start and Talk to Me Jimmy dominated with a front-running 5 1/2-length win in a one-mile race for New York-breds Nov. 9 at Aqueduct.

Talk to Me Jimmy returned from a three-month layoff Feb. 6 at Aqueduct in the $200,000 Withers Stakes, a Kentucky Derby qualifying race that was a difficult assignment as both his first try against open company and his stakes debut. He dueled with favorite Schoolyardsuperman for the early lead, seized command, and spurted away to a huge lead entering the stretch. Talk to Me Jimmy coasted to a 11-length runaway in 1:51.68 for 1 1/8 miles and earned 20 points toward qualifying for the 2026 Kentucky Derby.
From the first crop of 2020 Risen Star Stakes winner Modernist, Talk to Me Jimmy was produced by the winning Trippi mare Prairie Trip.
