This week marks one of the annual highlights of the North American racing calendar, with the focus squarely on South Florida. The 55th annual Resolute Racing Eclipse Awards ceremony will be held Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Breakers Palm Beach, celebrating the best Thoroughbred racing had to offer in 2025. Two days later, Gulfstream Park just a few miles south of Palm Beach pulls out the stops with a sensational racecard topped by the 10th Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes, a marquee contest for older dirt horses with a $3 million purse.
The Pegasus World Cup plus the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes will be broadcast nationwide on NBC and streamed on Peacock during an hour-and-a-half show from 4:30-6 p.m. ET. All races from Gulfstream Park on Pegasus day will also be shown live on FanDuel TV as part of their daily coverage that includes action from tracks such as Santa Anita Park, Laurel Park, and Turfway Park.
FanDuel TV is also the go-to network for the Eclipse Awards as the proceedings plus a pre-ceremony Red Carpet show will air live on the channel. The Red Carpet show begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and the awards ceremony will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, with co-hosts Lindsay Czarniak and Britney Eurton presiding over the show and Caton Bredar again serving as the Ceremony Announcer.
Racetrack Television Network (RTN) will also show the Eclipse Awards live, and the ceremony will be livestreamed on multiple outlets including NTRA.com, Equibase.com, Bloodhorse.com, TDN.com, and DRF.com.
Live racing from Aqueduct and Tampa Bay Downs is showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” during a three-day run starting Friday, Jan. 23, and ending Sunday, Jan. 25. The show airs on FOX Sports – check the below schedule for channels and times.
