The horse racing spotlight shines on New Orleans this upcoming weekend, as Fair Grounds hosts a stakes-rich card Saturday, Jan. 17, anchored by the Lecomte Stakes. The Lecomte is the first qualifying points race for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve that distributed points on a 20-10-6-4-2 basis to the top five finishers. Five other stakes races are scheduled on the Lecomte undercard including the Fasig-Tipton Silverbulletday Stakes, a points prep for the Longines Kentucky Oaks.
Action from Fair Grounds will be broadcast live on FanDuel TV as part of their comprehensive daily package that also includes racing from Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream Park, Turfway Park, and other tracks.
Live racing from Aqueduct and Tampa Bay Downs is showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” during a three-day run from Friday, Jan. 16, through Sunday, Jan. 18. The show airs on FOX Sports – check the below schedule for channels and times.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku
