Praying scored her maiden win as a 2-year-old in the third start of her career in a 5 1/2-furlong race at Horseshoe Indianapolis on Sept. 4, 2024. She concluded her juvenile season with a pair of stakes outings in Kentucky including a second-place finish in the $197,000 Myrtlewood Stakes going six furlongs at Keeneland on Oct. 25.
Praying began her 3-year-old campaign with another runner-up stakes finish, this time at Oaklawn Park in the $145,000 Southern Hospitality Stakes going six furlongs on March 30, 2025.

Her breakthrough stakes victory came in her third start of the 2025 season in her graded stakes debut in the Grade 3 $175,000 Prioress Stakes going six furlongs at Saratoga on Aug. 30 when she topped a five-horse field by a 3 1/2-length winning margin under jockey Eric Cancel as the longest shot on the board. Praying proved that win was no fluke in her next start, winning the Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes by a half-length on Oct. 4 at Keeneland to earn an expenses-paid berth in the PNC Bank Breeders’ Cup FIlly & Mare Sprint Nov. 1 at Del Mar.
