Mo Quality won his maiden race as a 2-year-old in his second lifetime race going 6 1/2 furlongs at Churchill Downs on Nov. 23, 2024. He then entered stakes company for his first start as a 3-year-old, which came in the $250,000 Smarty Jones Stakes going 1 1/16 miles at Oaklawn Park on Jan. 4, 2025. After a wide, stalking trip, Mo Quality won a battle for second in the stretch while beaten four lengths in a six-horse field. The Smarty Jones was a points race on the Road to the 2025 Kentucky Derby, and with his runner-up finish, Mo Quality earned five Derby qualifying points.

Mo Quality is trained by Christopher Davis. He was bred in Kentucky by the sire Uncle Mo out of the mare Revealing Quality by Quality Road.
