Rashmi

Rashmi won her maiden in her third career race as a 3-year-old on Sept. 14, 2024, at Woodbine. The chestnut filly was sent to race in California late in her 3-year-old season and won back-to-back starter allowance races at Del Mar in November.

Rashmi became a stakes winner for the first time when she won her 4-year-old debut on Feb. 1, 2025 in the Grade 3 $100,000 Megahertz Stakes going one mile on the turf at Santa Anita. She topped a field of seven horses by 2 1/2 lengths as the 1.90-1 favorite.

In her next start, Rashmi finished third by a neck in the Grade 2, $200,000 Buena Vista Stakes March 1 at Santa Anita Park. She did not race again until over a year later, returning in the Grade 3, $100,000 Wilshire Stakes March 28, 2026, at Santa Anita where she prevailed by 2 ¾ lengths as the 2-5 favorite.

Rashmi is trained by Jonathan Thomas. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Oscar Performance out of the mare Ponytail by Lonhro.
