Two Sharp

Two Sharp won her maiden race in her second career start as a 3-year-old at Saratoga on August 2, 2024. She was immediately pointed to the Grade 3 Prioress Stakes at Saratoga in her third lifetime outing on Aug. 31 and finished second.

Two Sharp was brought to Keeneland for the fall meet, where she scored an allowance win on Oct. 12. She was then ready to take another crack at graded stakes competition in her next race and she delivered with an exclamation point. Two Sharp won the Grade 3 $300,000 Chilukki Stakes going one mile at Churchill Downs on Nov. 23 when she blazed a fast :22.4, :44.4 and 1:09 pace and went wire-to-wire as the odds-on favorite to win by 5 3/4 lengths in a final time of 1:34.40.

Two Sharp had a winter layoff and returned to action for her 4-year-old seasonal debut in the Grade 3 $250,000 Winning Colors Stakes going six furlongs at Churchill Downs on May 26, 2025. Sent off as the 9-5 second choice on the tote board in the Winning Colors, Two Sharp made her first start of 2025 a winning one when grabbed a big early and lead and went wire-to-wire to score by 3 1/2 lengths in a time of 1:08.75 atop a field of seven.

Two Sharp is trained by Phil Bauer. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Twirling Candy out of the mare Double Sharp by Distorted Humor.
