Cinderella's Dream (GB)

Cinderella's Dream won her career debut as a 2-year-old in Great Britain in a seven-furlong race at Lingfield on May 30, 2023.  She recorded her second win in her second start on Sept. 1 at Thirsk, and then went 4-for-4 to begin her career when shipped to Dubai to win both the Jumeirah Fillies Classic in her 3-year-old debut on Feb. 2, 2024, and then the Jumeirah 100 Guineas on March 2 at Meydan Race Course.

Cinderella's Dream made her United States debut in the $500,000 Grade 1 Fasig-Tipton Belmont Oaks Invitational going 1 3/16 miles at Belmont at the Big A on July 6. Sent off as the 3.65-1 second choice on the tote board in a field of nine in the Oaks Invitational, Cinderella's Dream closed from near the rear of the field to fly by the leaders in the stretch and win by three-quarters of a length in a course record time of 1:53.42.

Owner Godolphin and trainer Charlie Appleby brought Cinderella’s Dream back for an attempt at taking the second leg of New York’s Turf Triple at Saratoga, and she went off as the odds-on favorite in the $400,000, Grade 2 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Oaks Invitational Aug. 2. Jockey William Buick kept her reserved off the pace in the 1 3/16-mile race, and maneuvered her to the outside of her four opponents at the top of the stretch before asking for her run. Once clear, she cruised to the front and won the Saratoga Oaks going away, improving to 2-for-2 in the U.S.

Cinderella's Dream was bred in Great Britain by the sire Shamardal out of the mare Espadrille by Dubawi.
