Epic Ride began his career with four races on the all-weather main track at Turfway Park in the winter of 2023-24 and won his maiden race as well as the $116,000 Leonatus Stakes at the meet in addition to scoring a second-place finish in the $142,000 John Battaglia Memorial Stakes on March 2.
Epic Ride tried the dirt for the first time in the $1 million Grade 1 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes going 1 1/8 miles at Keeneland on April 6 and earned a respectable third-place finish.

Epic Ride is trained by John Ennis. He was bred in Kentucky by the sire Blame out of the mare Pick a Time by Gio Ponti.
