Booth kicked off his racing career with a debut victory Oct. 7, 2023, at Keeneland, where he won a three-quarter-mile sprint by 5 ¼ lengths while leading from start to finish for trainer Steve Asmussen. Tested next against stakes competition in the Ed Brown Stakes at Churchill Downs, the Mitole colt ran fifth behind Just Steel.

Booth won a pair of allowance races from four starts as a 3-year-old in 2024 and was unplaced in his lone try against stakes competition.

The chestnut colt engineered a breakthrough victory in his second start as a 4-year-old, powering to a 4 ¾-length romp in the three-quarter-mile Commodore Overnight Stakes Feb. 24, 2025, at Oaklawn Park. Booth made his graded stakes debut at the same track and distance March 15 in the $250,000 Whitmore Stakes and again proved much the best in a 2 ¼-length win as the 5-2 favorite under Erik Asmussen.

Booth continued his dominance of the Oaklawn Park sprint stakes series for older horses on April 12 with his biggest win yet in the Grade 3 $500,000 Count Fleet Sprint Handicap going six furlongs. Sent off as the 2-5 favorite in a seven-horse field in the Count Fleet, Booth took the lead from the start, outdueled a rival, and went wire-to-wire for a three-quarters of a length victory in a time of 1:09.82.

Booth made his next start May 17 at Pimlico on the Preakness Stakes undercard. He overcame a bobble at the start to again lead from start to finish in a one-length victory as the 9-10 favorite in the $148,500 Maryland Sprint Stakes.

Stakes winner Sophia’s Song, by Bellamy Road, is the dam (mother) of Booth as well as Grade 1 winner Bright Future and graded stakes winner Musical Mischief. Booth hails from the family of two-time champion sprinter Housebuster.
