Blue Rose Farm was in the spotlight again in the 2023 Travers Stakes at Saratoga when Belmont Stakes winner Arcangelo added the "Mid-summer Derby" to his growing list of stakes accomplishments with a decisive victory over Forte and the other two winners of the 2023 Triple Crown races, Mage and National Treasure.
Blue Rose Farm purchased Arcangelo, a son of the late Arrogate, at auction for $35,000 from Gainesway's consignment at the 2021 September Yearling Sale at Keeneland. Before Arcangelo, Ebbert, who is involved in real estate in Pennsylvania, had won his first stakes race as a horse owner with Doctor J Dub in the 2016 Grade 3 Turf Monster Stakes at Parx Racing in 2016.
