Where to Watch/Listen: Horse Racing Coverage March 16-19

Events / Travel
Turf racing at Gulfstream Park. (Bob Coglianese/Gulfstream Park)

This upcoming late week and weekend in North American horse racing promises to be the quietest of 2023 so far. There are no qualifying points races for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve on the schedule – which will not be the case for every subsequent weekend through April 15 – and only two graded stakes races on tap, both Saturday, March 18 at Oaklawn Park. That being said, the usual bounty of betting opportunities is available as race meets continue from coast to coast.

Oaklawn’s races plus action from Aqueduct and Tampa Bay Downs will be showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” from Thursday to Sunday. The show airs on FS1 and FS2 – check the below schedule for air times.

Racing from Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, Turfway Park, Fair Grounds, and other tracks will be shown live on FanDuel TV as part of their comprehensive package.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
