Win-Early Pedigree is a real thing… and a horse’s bloodlines can tell you a lot about that horse’s chances of winning in their first few races. If you don’t know which pedigree is best, that’s fine. With STATS Race Lens, identifying early win candidates is easy… Using the SUMMARY RESEARCH TOOL, You can check statistics for both the SIRE and DAM of each horse in the field… modifying your search to include ONLY 2-Year-Old Horses. You can also filter for specific races, like sprints or routes, dirt or turf… and adjust for class level. Comparing win percentages, in-the-money rates, and even return-on-investment… by each sire and dam represented in the race… should create a clearer picture of which horse has the pedigree to WIN-EARLY.
The INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH TOOL is launched by clicking the Open button in one of the rows in SUMMARY RESEARCH, or by clicking on the name of a SIRE, DAM, TRAINER or JOCKEY in the PPs. Clicking the Modify button launches the interface that allows you to filter on First Time Starters, First Time Turf, Sprints to Routes, etc. Another valuable feature in INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH is the access to View Sire PPs and View Dam PPs. Examining those PPs can also offer clues to a horse's WIN-EARLY potential, or possible preference for distance or surface.
