Ariel has loved horses all her life, but her passion for racing began when she attended the 2014 Belmont Stakes. That race sparked a long love affair with Belmont Stakes winner Tonalist, whom she met after his Jockey Club Gold Cup win in 2015, and she’s been an avid fan ever since. Ariel graduated from Cornell University in 2015, where she wrote on the equestrian beat for The Cornell Daily Sun. She currently lives and works in New York City as a Marketing Assistant at Henry Holt and Company.
