Living 200 miles from home and working remotely in trainer's house for 3 weeks, sitting up with night watchman until wee hours of the morning, sleeping in jeans and boots, falling on ice and almost fracturing ribs when checking on mare at 1 a.m., saving the life of another mare's colt who arrived unexpectedly, battling below freezing temperatures, snow, and ice to spoil all the race horses on the farm...ALL worth it to witness the birth of our handsome Gio Ponti colt out of our beautiful Best Lass on February 1, 2015! #RacingFanProblems
