Gary Stevens

After a seven-year retirement, Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens made the decision to return to the saddle in 2013. The season turned into a perfect Hollywood story when he annexed three of the biggest races of the year by winning the Preakness on Oxbow, the Breeders' Cup Distaff on Beholder, and the Breeders' Cup Classic on Mucho Macho Man in addition to 14 other graded stakes races. Stevens was a finalist for the 2013 Eclipse Award as outstanding jockey. According to Stevens, his return isn't a short-term deal as he will be riding again in 2014.

In addition to regaining his elite form as a jockey, Stevens also is an on-air racing analyst for HRTV and NBC and an accomplished actor who starred in Seabiscuit and the HBO series "Luck".
