One of the most iconic stretches in Hot Springs, Ark., home to Oaklawn Park, is Bathhouse Row. This elegant collection of buildings and gardens was built over the thermal waters that first drew tourists to the small, southern resort. The eight buildings were constructed between 1892 and 1923 and are third- and fourth-generation structures.

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Daily Racing Form, and the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters (NTWAB) announced today that the 53rd Annual Eclipse Awards will air live on FanDuel TV and Racetrack Television Network (RTN) on Jan. 25 from The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida. The Keeneland red-carpet show will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the ceremony following at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Action during the upcoming weekend on the North American horse racing calendar focuses squarely on New Orleans, where on Saturday, Jan. 20, Fair Grounds will host the second of its four qualifying points races for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, the Lecomte Stakes.

The upcoming weekend in horse racing is light on stakes activity, but action is still plentiful at tracks across North America, with California-breds and Florida-breds showcased in Sunshine Millions races at Santa Anita Park and Gulfstream Park, respectively.

Inspired by Winston Churchill’s famous quote, “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man,” this year’s awards show will depict the many stories that uniquely touched our hearts this past year.
