As the field for the $2 million Preakness Stakes swings into the Pimlico Race Course homestretch May 18, they will be greeted by the roar of thousands of fans that fill the grandstand.

NBC Sports will provide extensive coverage of the 149th Preakness Stakes Saturday from Baltimore’s Pimlico Race Course. The broadcast begins on CNBC with the Preakness undercard from 1:30-4:30 p.m. ET before shifting to NBC from 4:30-7:30 p.m. ET. Post time for the 1 3/16-mile Preakness, the middle jewel of the Triple Crown, is set for 7:01 p.m. ET.
