Breeders’ Cup Fantastic Finishes: A Distaff Duel for the Ages
Tradition, atmosphere, and excitement have been hallmarks of the Far Hills Race Meeting for more than a century. The 105th annual Far Hills Race Meet Saturday, Oct. 17, at Moorland Farm in Far Hills, N.J., is anchored, as always, by a terrific card of six races featuring the American Grand National, and the event continues to grow and evolve.
“The Far Hills Race Meeting has always been about bringing the best in steeplechase racing to Moorland Farm, and we’re proud to continue building on that tradition,” said Guy Torsilieri, co-chairman of the Far Hills Race Meet. “This year, we’re offering $825,000 in total purses, including a $300,000 American Grand National, with six races on the card. We look forward to another great day of racing and to welcoming top horses, trainers, and owners from across the country and internationally to Moorland Farm.”
