Two weeks ago, national television viewership of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve reached its best mark since 1989, and the momentum will hopefully continue through the upcoming Preakness Stakes, the second jewel of horse racing’s Triple Crown, Saturday, May 17 at Pimlico.

The 150th edition of the Preakness promises to be an exciting race despite the absence of Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty, and once again NBC Sports holds exclusive broadcast rights. The network will present 5 ½ hours of coverage on-site at Pimlico, starting from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. ET on CNBC and then moving to NBC from 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. ET. Post time for the Preakness is set for 7:01 p.m. ET. All races during this timeframe will also stream live on Peacock.

All undercard races at Pimlico on Preakness Day plus the entire card Friday, May 16, highlighted by the George E. Mitchell Black-Eyed Susan Stakes will air on FanDuel TV. Three races from the Friday card, including the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes, will stream on Peacock.

In addition to its Pimlico coverage, FanDuel TV will as usual show live racing this week from various tracks around the country including Churchill Downs, Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, and Woodbine.

Horse racing action from Belmont at the Big A and Monmouth Park is featured on “America’s Day at the Races,” which airs three days this week – Thursday, May 15, Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18. Two shows are on tap for Saturday with an added evening program focusing on harness racing at the Meadowlands. “America’s Day at the Races” airs on FOX Sports channels – check the below schedule for times.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

Livestreaming content this week is highlighted by ABR’s “Preakness LIVE!,” a show on-site from Pimlico on May 17, presented by 1/ST BET. The show starts at 3 p.m. ET at the Infield Fan Zone at Pimlico and will feature an exciting roster of special guests. It airs on ABR’s Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube channels.
