The 150^th Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve is now less than three weeks away, and all qualifying prep races have concluded. Contenders are either settling in at Churchill Downs or preparing to ship to the iconic Louisville track for the May 4 run for the roses, and in about a week and a half from now, media coverage of horse racing will reach its annual zenith and last for seven or eight days as the buzz builds for what promises to be an exciting Derby (aren’t they all?).

Meanwhile, top-class horse racing continues at venues including Keeneland, which will hold the final full week of racing at its spring meet from Wednesday, April 17 through Sunday, April 21 before concluding with three dates next week.
