The Road to the 2023 Breeders’ Cup heads north of the border this weekend, with three “Win and You’re In” qualifying preps scheduled Saturday, Sept. 16, at Woodbine in Toronto. The Ricoh Woodbine Mile offers an automatic berth to the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Mile Presented by PDJF, the bet365 Summer Stakes is a Challenge Series prep for the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, and the Johnnie Walker Natalma Stakes offers a berth to the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

Two other marquee tracks kick off their early fall meets on Thursday, Sept. 13. Churchill Downs will run for just over two weeks and offer several important stakes races, including the Iroquois Stakes and Pocahontas Stakes on Saturday, while the Belmont at the Big A meet will run through the end of October. For the second year in a row, Aqueduct hosts New York’s fall meet while Belmont Park continues with major renovation.

The Woodbine Mile will be broadcast nationwide on a NBC show airing from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET Saturday as part of NBC Sports’ Road to the Breeders’ Cup series. The broadcast is also available for livestreaming on Peacock.

FanDuel TV will also show racing from Woodbine – and, starting on Thursday, the network will also exclusively show racing from Churchill Downs as FanDuel is now the online provider of sports wagering at Churchill Downs properties. FanDuel TV continues to broadcast action from tracks including Gulfstream Park and Pimlico as part of its usual package, and will also show the final day of racing at Kentucky Downs on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Racing from Belmont at the Big A is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races,” airing on FS2 and FS1 from Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 17. Check the below schedule for times and channels.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

ABR’s livestreaming content returns this week with a show Saturday at Woodbine. Hosted by Dan Tordjman and Jamie Martinez, “Woodbine LIVE!” will feature coverage of the Woodbine Mile, Summer Stakes, and Natalma Stakes and welcome surprise guests and analysts throughout the day. The show begins at 3:45 p.m. ET and will air on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter/X, and YouTube channels.
