You’re My Girl got off to a fast start in 2022 with her maiden win coming in her 2-year-old career debut on Sept. 2, 2022. The Overanalyze filly won a six-furlong dirt race at Saratoga by an impressive 14 ½ lengths, and that victory was strong enough to propel her into the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes at Belmont at the Big A for her second lifetime start on Oct. 1. Stretching out to one mile for the first time, You’re My Girl set a solid pace and held on for second in the six-horse field, beaten just a length by winning favorite Chocolate Gelato on a sloppy, sealed track.

You're My Girl was not nominated to the Breeders' Cup, but her connections paid to supplement her for a shot at the $2 million NetJets Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Keeneland on Nov. 4. In the Juvenile Fillies, You're My Girl pressed the pace and faded a bit to finish fifth in the 13-horse field.
