Yes I Am Free won his first graded stakes race on Feb. 12, 2022, when he won the Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint Stakes. He set the early pace and was never in serious danger of being caught, drawing off to win easily. That marked the first graded stakes win in the career of trainer Laura Cazares.
