Vegas Magic began her career with a one-length debut win June 11, 2022, at Santa Anita Park and followed with a hard-fought win by a nose in the Everett Nevin Stakes at the Alameda County Fair at Pleasanton in her second start on July 9.
Tested next against stakes competition, Vegas Magic surged past heavily favored Procrastination in deep stretch of the Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar to post a clear win and improve to three wins in as many starts.

Vegas Magic suffered her first career defeat in the seven-furlong Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante on Sept. 10 in her first start beyond the distance of six furlongs, where she finished fourth in a seven-horse field.
The subsequent start for Vegas Magic was in the NetJets Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies on Nov. 5 going 1 1/16 miles at Keeneland. Vegas Magic started slow from the rail and had early trouble in the 13-horse field to race last much of the race until improving for 10th at the finish.
Vegas Magic trained by Doug O'Neill. She is from the first crop of 2017 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner and champion 2-year-old male Good Magic, the runner-up in the 2018 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve. Stakes winner Heidi Maria, by Rockport Harbor, is the dam (mother) of Vegas Magic.
