Although bred in Great Britain, Value Proposition began his career in the United States. He won three times from his first four races, with his only defeat coming in the 2019 Grade 3 Pennine Ridge Stakes.
After two stakes placings in 2021, Value Proposition broke through for his first stakes win in the Red Bank Stakes at Monmouth Park on Sept. 4. As the odds-on favorite, he rated off the leaders and rolled by them in the stretch, under Paco Lopez. He picked up another stakes win on Oct. 29, when he won the Oyster Bay Stkaes at Belmont Park.
