Tuesday won her maiden in her 3-year-old debut (second career start) in a one-mile race at Naas Race Course on March 27, 2022 for trainer Aidan O’Brien and owner Michael Tabor. She finished third in the Group 1 English 1000 Guineas on May 1 at Newmarket, and then second in the Group 1 Irish Guineas at the Curragh on May 22 before breaking through for her first stakes win in the Group 1 Epsom Oaks in her first stretchout to 1 ½-miles on June 3. She next finished fourth versus males in the Group 1 Irish Derby on June 25 and then finished second to Alpinista in the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks on Aug. 18.  She raced off the board in a pair of Group 1 races at Longchamp, including the Prix Vermeille at 1 ½ miles on Sept. 11, and the Prix De l’Opera at 1 ¼ miles on Oct. 2.

For her final start of 2022, Tuesday shipped to the United States to run in the Grade 1 $2 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Keeneland on Nov. 5. Tuesday was sent off as the 4-1 third choice on the tote board in a field of 12 and sat off a fast pace in mid-pack as the opening quarter mile went in :22.4. Tuesday made a five-wide move into the stretch under jockey Ryan Moore when chasing the leader, In Italian. Tuesday erased a 2+ length deficit in the final furlong and kicked away late to a one-length victory in a time of 1:51.88 for the 1 3/16, which was a course and stakes record at a distance that is seldom used in the Breeders' Cup and at Keeneland.

Tuesday was bred in Ireland by the sire Galileo out of the mare Lillie Langtry by Danehill Dancer. Lillie Langtry was a multiple group 1 winner of the equivalent of more than $1.5 million. In addition to Tuesday, Lillie Langtry is the dam (mother) of three other group stakes winners including $3.2 million earner Minding.
