Rinaldi's first two wins came in stakes races. He broke his maiden with a win in the New York Stallion Stakes at Belmont Park at 10.20-1 on June 23, 2019. He followed that up with a gate-to-wire score in the New York Stallion Series Stakes at Saratoga on Jul. 24. He was entered in the Grade 3 Saranac Stakes on Aug. 31 on the strength of those two wins, but could do no better than fourth.
Rinaldi won twice at Saratoga in 2020 and led at every point of call in both races. In his second start of the meet, he won the West Point Stakes on Sept. 4.

In 2021, Rinaldi resurfaced at Aqueduct on April 10 in a listed stakes and yielded the lead late to finish second to Delaware by three quarters of a length. The gelding then returned to his favorite track for the Grade 3 Forbidden Apple Stakes at Saratoga on July 16 and scored a breakthrough graded stakes win. Luis Saez guided him to a front-running half-length victory over Value Proposition, with Delaware checking in third. That was his fourth win in five career starts for owner and trainer H. James Bond.
