Randomized raced one time as a 2-year-old at the 2022 Saratoga meet, but really kicked-off her career in earnest as a 3-year-old when she was victorious in her second lifetime outing when she went wire-to-wire to win a one-mile maiden race at Aqueduct on March 31, 2023. Just two starts later, she scored her first career stakes victory when able to go wire-to-wire again in the $125,000 Wilton Stakes going one mile on the main track at Saratoga on July 14.

Randomized then burst into national prominence in her following race, which was a victory in the Grade 1 $600,000 Alabama Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 19. Using her trademark early speed to establish the lead, Randomized went right to the front under jockey Joel Rosario in the 1 1/4-mile Alabama and controlled the pace throughout the race. She led all the way and was never threatened on route to a four-length win atop a field of 10 3-year-old fillies over a fast track.

Randomized was subsequently tasked with facing older females in the $250,000, Grade 2 Beldame Stakes on Oct. 8, 2023, at the Belmont at the Big A meeting. She handled the test with aplomb, leading again from start to finish in a facile 3 3/4-length victory, completing the 1 1/8 miles in  1:49.05.

Trainer Chad Brown then tested his 3-year-old filly against older horses again in a tougher assignment: the Nov. 4 Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic at Santa Anita Park. Randomized set a fast early pace and never quit when engaged by favored Idiomatic in the stretch, finishing second by a half-length.
