Packs a Wahlop finished fourth on a sloppy main track at Gulfstream Park in his career debut June 22, 2022, but found turf more to his liking in his second race when pressing the pace and pulling clear late to a 1/12-length score Aug. 5 in a five-furlong race at Del Mar.
Tested next against stakes competition while stretching out to a mile for the $100,000 Del Mar Juvenile Turf Stakes, he drove clear in the stretch to a runaway 4 1/4-length win in the Grade 3 race.
