Nothing Like You

Nothing Like You won her maiden race in her fourth career start in a 2-year-old maiden race at Santa Anita on Oct. 14, 2023. She would end her 2-year-old season on a three-race winning streak and as a multiple stakes winner.

Nothing Like You won the $100,000 Desi Arnaz Stakes going seven furlongs on the main track at Del Mar on Nov. 18, and then finished the year strong with a victory in the Grade 2 $200,000 Starlet Stakes going 1 1/16 miles at Los Alamitos on Dec. 9. Sent off as the 2.10-1 third choice in a six-horse field in the Starlet in her stakes stretchout attempt, Nothing Like You went right to the lead and went wire-to-wire, drawing off in the stretch to a 5 1/4-length score.

Nothing Like You made her 3-year-old debut with a fourth-place finish in the Grade 3 Las Virgenes Stakes at one mile at Santa Anita on Feb. 10, 2024, but then meant business in her second start of the season when she scored a romping victory in the Grade 2 $300,000 Santa Anita Oaks on April 6. In the Santa Anita Oaks, Nothing Like You rated behind horses under jockey Frankie Dettori and blasted through a gap on the rail at the top of the stretch and powered to a 7 1/2-length-gap win.

Nothing Like You is trained by Bob Baffert. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Malibu Moon out of the mare Miss Darek by Brother Derek.
