Nobals

Nobals won his maiden race as a 2-year-old during the 2021 Arlington meet and won his first stakes race late in the same meet when he won the $75,000 Arlington Washington Futurity going seven furlongs on a synthetic surface on Aug. 28, 2021. He finished his juvenile campaign in stakes races on turf and synthetic at Kentucky Downs, Presque Isle Downs, and Del Mar, where he recorded a second and a pair of fifth-place finishes.

Nobals made his 3-year-old debut at Turfway Park on Jan. 8, 2022, and was victorious in the $94,000 Turfway Preview Stakes going 6 1/2 furlongs on a synthetic surface. That race begin a four-race winning streak for Nobals during the first half of 2022 where he won the $184,000 Animal Kingdom Stakes at six furlongs on synthetic at Turfway, the $128,000 Woodstock Stakes at Woodbine going six furlongs on synthetic, and then scored his first career turf win in a Churchill Downs 5 1/2-furlong allowance turf sprint on June 8.

The next time Nobals reached the winner's circle was in the third start of his 4-year-old season in the Grade 2 $500,000 Twinspires Turf Sprint on May 6, 2023 at Churchill Downs. Sent off as the 38-1 longest shot on the board in a field of 11, Nobals went right to the front and went wire to wire in 1:02.45 for the 5 1/2 furlongs.

Nobals is trained by Larry Rivelli for Patricia's Hope Stables. He was bred in Kentucky by the Sire Noble Mission out of the mare Pearly Blue by Empire Maker.
