Nash

Nash began his career with a runner-up finish in a Keeneland 2-year-old maiden race on Oct. 7, 2023, and won his first race the following outing at Churchill Downs on Nov. 12. His third start was a third-place finish in the $100,000 Gun Runner Stakes at Fair Grounds, where he lost by three lengths as the 1-2 odds favorite on the tote board. The Gun Runner was a points race on the Road to the 2024 Kentucky Derby, and his show finish earned Nash three qualifying points.

Nash made his 3-year-old debut in the Grade 3 $200,000 Lecomte Stakes at Fair Grounds on Jan. 20, 2024. He was sent off as the 1.10-1 post time favorite in a field of six, but just as he had done in the Gun Runner Stakes late in 2023, Nash came up short behind Track Phantom in the Lecomte, where he finished second by 2 3/4 lengths. The Lecomte was a part of the 2024 Road to the Kentucky Derby points series, and with his runner-up finish, Nash earned another 10 qualifying points.

Nash is trained by Brad Cox. He was bred in Kentucky by the sire Medaglia d'Oro out of the mare Sara Louise by Malibu Moon.
