Loggins was terrific in his career debut when stalking the pace and pulling away to an 8 ½-length romp Sept. 17, 2022, at Churchill Downs, where he proved much the best under Florent Geroux in the 6 ½-furlong maiden special weight race.

Trainer Brad Cox next tested the Ghostzapper colt in class with a jump to Grace 1 competition for the $600,000 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity at Keeneland Oct. 8. He led into the stretch and battled gamely with Hopeful Stakes winner Forte but came up just short in a runner-up finish.
