Komorebino Omoide had humble beginnings and blossomed into a graded stakes winner. He broke his maiden in a maiden claiming race at Oaklawn Park in his fourth career start on March 3, 2024. Later that spring he won back-to-back allowance races in May at Louisiana Downs and Lone Star Park and then became a stakes winner at Delta Downs when he took the Delta Mile Stakes on Nov. 8.

Komorebino Omoide landed on the national radar in his 5-year-old season in 2025 starting with a pair of runner-up finishes in Fair Grounds graded stakes races including the Grade 3 Louisiana Stakes on Jan. 18 and the Grade 3 Mineshaft Stakes on Feb. 15. He then scored a minor stakes win at Fonner Park on April 26 in the Bosselman Pump and Pantry Gus Fonner Stakes.
Komorebino Omoide remained in his best career form for another victory in his following start, finally getting that evasive graded stakes win when he scored a rallying 2 1/4-length win in the Grade 3 $400,000 Steve Sexton Mile at Lone Star Park on May 26.
Komorebino Omoide is trained by Robertino Diodoro. He was bred in Japan by the sire California Chrome out of the mare Decennial by Trippi.
