Next out, in the Grade 2 Appalachian Stakes Presented by Japan Racing Association at Keeneland on Apr. 6, Jouster set a slow early pace, and held on for a gate-to-wire win, crossing the line 3/4 of a length in front. She covered a mile on the turf in 1:36.83, under jockey Luis Saez.
