Implicated

Implicated won her first two grass races as a 2-year-old in 2022, including a 1 1/16-mile maiden race and the Chelsey Flower Stakes at the same distance at the fall Belmont at the Big A meet. She then went to the sidelines for nearly a year and made her next appearance in a 1 1/8-mile turf race on Oct. 19, 2023 at Belmont at the Big A, where she finished fourth in her return from the sidelines.

The next outing for Implicated in the second start off the long layoff came in the Grade 3 $200,000 Pebbles Stakes at Aqueduct on Nov. 11. Implicated topped the field of nine 3-year-old fillies by a half a length to earn her first graded stakes win.

Implicated is trained by Chad Brown. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Connect out of the mare Wysteria by Tale of the Cat.
