Honor D Lady

Honor D Lady has proved versatile throughout her career with victories on dirt, turf, and all-weather surfaces.

After running second in her career debut on the dirt main track at Gulfstream Park in September 2022, Honor D Lady won a maiden race by 7 ½ lengths on the all-weather surface at the Hallandale, Fla. Track in October. She closed out her 2-year-old season with a third-place finish, beaten by a length, in the Grade 3 Mazarine Stakes on the all-weather surface at Woodbine in November.

The Honor Code filly made her 3-year-old bow on the turf May 6, 2023, at Gulfstream Park in the Honey Ryder Stakes and dominated by 1 ¼ lengths in her first try on the grass. She returned to all-weather surfaces for her next two races and ran third in the Martha Washington Stakes at Gulfstream and second in the Grade 3 Selene Stakes at Woodbine.

Honor D Lady was outclassed when last of 10 in the $400,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Oaks Invitational Stakes in her return to grass in August.

Shipped to Remington Park for the $220,000 Remington Park Oaks and a stakes foray on a dirt main track, Honor D Lady stalked the pace and surged to a 2 ½-length victory at 7.70-1 odds under Tyler Conner. Honor D Lady later finished her 2023 campaign with a third-place finish in teh Grade 3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct on Nov. 25.

Honor D Lady returned for the start of her 4-year-old campaign in the Grade 3 Royal Delta Stakes on Feb. 17, 2024 at Gulfstream Park, where she scored her fourth career victory in 10 lifetime starts to that point in her career. 

Multiple stakes producer Complicated, by Blame, is the dam of Honor D Lady.
