Heart of Honor (GB)

Heart of Honor finished second in his career debut in Europe for trainer Jamie Osborne before shipping to Dubai and closing out his 2-year-old season with a 4 ½-length win at Meydan Dec. 6, 2024.

The Honor A. P. colt followed with a victory in his 3-year-old bow Jan. 10. 2025, at Meydan, before a string of three straight runner-up finishes against stakes competition. He finished second in the Group 3 UAE Two Thousand Guineas Presented by Longines and the Al Bastakiya Presented by DP World. Heart of Honor then battled stride-for-stride with Admire Daytona through the Meydan stretch in the UAE Derby Presented by Jumeirah April 5 before coming up a nose short.

Osborne considered sending Heart of Honor to Churchill Downs to compete in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, but ultimately the trainer thought the turnaround would be took quick. He did wind up shipping him to Churchill for quarantine a few weeks later ahead of a bid in the Preakness Stakes May 17 at Pimlico.

Chilean champion Ruby Love, by Scat Daddy, is the dam (mother) of Heart of Honor.
