Fun and Feisty earned her first win in her third career start as a 2-year-old at Churchill Downs on Aug. 13, 2022. She used that race as a springboard up into stakes competition in her next start which came in the Grade 3, $300,000 Pocahontas Stakes back at Churchill Downs on Sept. 17. In the Pocahontas, Fun and Feisty made a big move from near the rear of a 12-horse field to close past the leaders in the stretch en route to a 3 ½-length victory under jockey Julien Leparoux.
Fun and Feisty is trained by Ken McPeek and was bred in Kentucky out of Grouse Grind, by First Samauri.
