Full Serrano began his racing career in Argentina where he won four of his 14 races between 2022 and the beginning of 2024 when he was brought to race in the United States in the barn of trainer John Sadler. He won his U.S. debut in a one-mile allowance optional claiming race at Del Mar on Aug. 3, 2024. He then entered the Grade 1 Pacific Classic at Del Mar in his second SoCal outing and ran a very creditable second-place finish when beaten just a half a length behind Mixto on Aug. 31.

Established as a legitimate Grade 1 performer by his runner-up finish in the Pacific Classic, Full Serrano returned to Del Mar to make his next start in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile on Nov. 2, where he dispatched a 13-horse field to score an impressive victory. Sent off as 13.40-1 longshot in the big field, Full Serrano proved to be much the best as he pressed the pace throughout until taking charge in the stretch and winning by 1 1/2 lengths under jockey Joel Rosario in a time of 1:35.48.
Full Serrano was bred in Argentina by the sire Full Mast out of the mare Serra Do Mar by Jump Start.
