Forewarned won his first stakes race at Thistledown, near Cleveland, Ohio, on June 30, 2018. He won the Daniel Stearns Cleveland Gold Cup in a 16-1 upset, prevailing in a long stretch battle with Fusaichi's Wind for a head victory.
In the fall of 2018, Forewarned was transferred to the barn of Uriah St. Lewis, under new ownership Trin-Brook Stable. He began racing on the east coast, after making all of his prior starts in his home state of Ohio.
Forewarned won his first stakes race at Thistledown, near Cleveland, Ohio, on June 30, 2018. He won the Daniel Stearns Cleveland Gold Cup in a 16-1 upset, prevailing in a long stretch battle with Fusaichi's Wind for a head victory.
In the fall of 2018, Forewarned was transferred to the barn of Uriah St. Lewis, under new ownership Trin-Brook Stable. He began racing on the east coast, after making all of his prior starts in his home state of Ohio.
After two stakes placings at Parx in the fall of 2019, Forewarned got another stakes win in his return to Ohio, winning the Best of Ohio Endurance Stakes by 2 3/4 lengths at Mahoning Valley Race Course, near Youngstown, on Oct. 26. He won that race for the second year in a row on Oct. 31, 2020, and picked up a third win in the race on Oct. 30, 2021.
Forewarned capped off his 2021 season with a 42-1 upset win in the Queens County Stakes at Aqueduct on Dec. 19. The victory marked the biggest win to date for jockey Dexter Haddock.
Forewarned and Haddock earned another upset stakes victory on Apr. 2, 2022, when they won the Excelsior Stakes at Aqueduct as the 4.70-1 third choice.
